Hygeia House Cleaning began with a simple, powerful realization: a clean home is much more than appearance, it supports your overall well-being.
I’m Sadie, founder of Hygeia, a single mom of three from the West Kootenays who turned a natural talent for cleaning into a calling.
While working as a housekeeper at a retreat center, I witnessed how thoughtfully maintained and cared for physical spaces can support people's inner healing journeys.
That insight still guides everything we do.
What started as a side hustle, has become a successful cleaning business. We serve discerning homeowners who value premium, non-toxic products, and consistent quality service.
Today, Hygeia is growing into a full ecosystem of care, from home maintenance, to our own Ritual Cleaners™ line. Each product I have designed with the intention to help people feel amazing in the place that matters most, their homes.

I’m Sadie, the founder of Hygeia.
I’m ambitious, hard-working, and committed to creating a company that brings good energy into people’s homes. As Hygeia grows, my role is to uphold our standards: high-quality work, clear communication, and a positive, uplifting experience for every client.
Katie and I work together as a fast, efficient, and well-balanced team. With both of us on-site, we’re able to complete jobs more quickly without compromising on detail, so we spend less time in your home while still delivering a beautifully polished finish. Katie understands my vision and shares my values, which makes our work flow naturally and creates a consistent, positive experience for every client.
Alongside our core partnership, we also work with a small group of trained, bondable subcontractors who assist with larger projects, move-outs, and busy seasons. Each person we bring in is someone we know, trust, and who aligns with our values of respect, quality, and professionalism.
