Our Mutual Respect Policy

At Hygeia House Cleaning, we believe great service is built on clear communication and mutual respect. These simple guidelines help keep everything flowing smoothly:

Payment

Payment is due within 72 hours of your clean.
If payment is late, a $25 fee per day will be applied after that window.​
​
Health & Safety
-
If anyone in your household has been sick within the last 72 hours, please let us know so we can reschedule.

We promise to do the same if any of our team members are unwell.
​​
Time
-
We may arrive up to 30 minutes earlier or later than your scheduled time.
-
If we will be delayed more than 30 minutes, we’ll let you know right away.
​​
Rescheduling
-
Please provide at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to reschedule, so we can adjust and serve other clients.

Exceptions are made for emergencies.
Additional Services
-
If you’d like extra services beyond your regular plan, please give us 48 hours notice so we can prepare and ensure we have time to accommodate.

What We Don’t Do

We do not handle pet litter, mold, or extreme clutter.

For health and safety reasons, these fall outside our scope of service.

Respecting Your Space

Closed doors will not be entered. Please leave doors open to rooms you’d like us to clean.

If you tidy up before we arrive, it gives us more time to focus on the deeper details you don’t get to in-between cleans.
Client Presence During Cleaning

To maintain flow, comfort, and efficiency, we prefer to work while the home is unoccupied.
If you work from home, please remain in your workspace during the clean, and ensure other household members avoid common areas while we work.

Keys & Access

If we’re provided with a key or code, it will be kept safe and used only for scheduled cleans.

If we arrive and can’t access the property, a cancellation fee may apply.

Irreplaceable Items

While we take the utmost care with every item in your home, we kindly ask that irreplaceable or especially delicate belongings be put away before your scheduled clean.

Pets
-
We’re happy to work around pets, but please let us know in advance if you have animals that need special care (shy, anxious, or need to be secured while we clean).

If something doesn’t meet your expectations, let us know within 24 hours and we’ll make it right.

Confidentiality & Photo Promise

Confidentiality: Your privacy matters. We treat everything in your home with the highest level of respect and discretion. What we see or hear in your space stays confidential.

Photos: Sometimes we love to showcase our work (like a sparkling kitchen or a dramatic before-and-after). We will always ask your permission first before taking or sharing any photos. Nothing will ever be posted without your clear consent.

PRICING
Initial Clean​

$40/hour per cleaner

Your first clean is hourly, so we can do a full reset and see how long it takes to bring your home up to Hygeia standards.

After this, we’ll provide you with a fixed quote for regular service so your price never changes — results only.
​
Regular Maintenance Cleans

$150 minimum (for 2 cleaners)
-
$100 minimum (for small spaces requiring only 1 cleaner)

All regular service is billed at a fixed quote, not hourly.

Deep Cleans & Move-Out Cleans

$45/hour per cleaner
-
A pre-service walk-through is recommended (especially for deep cleans or move-outs) to provide the most accurate quote, though it’s not required.

Move-Out Flat Rates (Minimums)

Under 1,000 sq ft → $250 minimum
-
1,000 – 1,500 sq ft → $450 minimum
-
1,500 – 2,000 sq ft → $700 minimum
-
Over 2,000 sq ft → $1,000 minimum

(Pricing reflects the intensive detail required for move-outs. Homes with heavy build-up, clutter, or special requests may be quoted higher.)

A detailed Deep Clean / Move-Out Checklist will be available, along with an intake form to get started.

Add-On Services​

Specialized Add-Ons (e.g., carpets, upholstery, shower glass, above-and-beyond detail work): $45/hour 1 hr minimum
Notes for Clients
-
Supplies, non-toxic Ritual Cleaners™, and proper equipment (such as steam mops or shop vacs, depending on the job) are always included.

Transparent pricing: no hidden fees.

Maintenance cleans have a minimum rate as listed above.
